The Tamil Nadu Region has three sectors: Rameshwaram, Chennai and Kanyakumari. It has six teams: Rameshwaram, Chengalpattu, Porur, Ramapuram, Madurai, Marthandam and Colachel.

 

Rameshwaram :
 

Rameswaram sector consists of Rameswaram Team and Madurai Team. Rameswaram Team is one of the oldest team. It started in the year 1997 by Rev. Fr. Christanand and by Rev. Fr. Remigious.

 

Chennai :

The Chennai team was started in the year 2009 by Rev. Fr. Joseph Sengol in the presence of the Director-General Rev. Fr. Fransua Hamel and Rev. Fr. James Dunstan.

Chengalpattu :

The Chennai team was started in the year 2009 by Rev. Fr. Joseph Sengol in the presence of the Director-General Rev. Fr. Fransua Hamel and Rev. Fr. James Dunstan.

 

Porur :

 

Porur team was started by Fr. Rajan Thomas in the year 2019.

Colachel :

Colachel team is started by Fr.Churchil in the presence of Rev.Fr.Michael Devin Coonghe the Central Council member in the year 2022.

Marthandam :

​

Marthandam team is started by Fr.Jones Cletus in the presence of Rev.Fr.Michael Devin Coonghe, the Central Council member in the year 2022.  

​

The team will have a priest animator and their committed member as the leader. The leader will be presiding over the team meetings. The team meetings shall be either in the house of the members or in a common place decided by the team. The team is the place of formation of the members of Institute Voluntas Dei (IVD). The Teams gathers once in a month and strengthen the team members in IVD spirituality and make them share their feelings and difficulties.  Once in three months, the sectors gather all the sector members together to evaluate the team spirit and their spiritual growth.
